Happy Father’s Day

A Father’s Love Deserves to Be Celebrated Too

To the New (or Soon-to-Be) Dads—This One’s for You

You might not be the one carrying the baby, but you’re going through it too. From holding your partner’s hair back during those rough first weeks to late-night grocery runs for every craving, to hearing that tiny heartbeat during the first ultrasound—you’re showing up. And that matters more than you probably hear.

During my first pregnancy, I could make it through the workday, but by 5 p.m., I was done. My husband would crawl into bed with me, and we’d take turns reading out loud. (Okay—he read more, I dozed.) It sounds a little cheesy now, but I still remember how cozy and sweet those days were—just the two of us, building our little family.

You have your own way of showing up for your partner. And trust me—she sees it and appreciates it.

You’re Already Someone’s Safe Place

Even before your baby arrives, they know your voice. Your calm. Your love. You’re already building the kind of bond that will shape their world. That’s not just “support”—that’s foundational.

And let’s be honest—your partner needs you just as much. Having a baby is beautiful and exciting, but it’s also overwhelming. You leave the hospital with this tiny human and think, Wait—they're letting us go home with this baby? It’s a lot.

All my babies had colic, and my husband was incredible at just holding and rocking them. He could sleep standing up, while I need pitch-dark, complete silence, and three pillows. Lean into your strengths—that’s why you’re a team.

You Don’t Need All the Answers

No parent has it all figured out. None of us do. But what your baby—and your partner—will remember is how present you were. How kind. How steady. It’s not about being perfect—it’s about being there.

This Father’s Day, Take a Minute to Soak It All In

Your presence, your love, your quiet strength—it means the world to your growing family.

Happy Father’s Day. You’ve got this. And we see you. 💙
