HI! I'm Julia Christina.

I've been practicing photography for 9+ years and have my Masters of Photography from the Academy of Art University, specializing in newborns for 6+ years. Julia Christina has always had a love for art and an interest in extending our emotional memory through image and can’t wait to do it for you.

I've been a lover of babies and children ever since I was young myself, so newborns are a natural subject to me. When I was young, I always wanted three children. They all loved to fuss when they were newborns so I'm a whiz at soothing little ones, and truly ADORE doing it.

PUBLISHED

Some of my fine art pieces have been shown in galleries, and won photo contests, and been featured on LensCulture and SantaWorkshops. My newborn and maternity images have been received awards on AFNS, BabyPhotoAwards, NewbornPhotoContest and been featured on Inspired by Colour.

Julia Christina also has been published in the NAPCP magazine. She’s written an article for their magazine, and her artwork has appeared on more than one occasion printed in their magazine.

EDUCATION

Julia Christina's journey took another path, the responsible path of getting a Bachelor of Commerce. After working professionally in human resources for over five years, she couldn't ignore her calling any longer. She now has a Master of Fine Arts with a major in Photography.

SPECIFIC NEWBORN EXPERIENCE & TRAINING

Rest assured your baby is in good hands with me. I have many years of experience with newborns. I also have had three babies of my own plus training in newborn photography. I’ve taken one-on-one training with Brianna Payne Photography, and a group training with Buffalo Baby, plus numerous online courses.

I take their safety and security with the utmost care. I am not a service, I am personable and you know WHO are you choosing when you choose Julia Christina! When you choose me as your newborn photographer you are choosing someone who not only knows photography, but also newborns. And YES I am ABSOLUTELY FULLY VACCINATED, and I get my yearly flu shot to help protect these precious babes, and I’ve had all my Covid-19 boosters.
