3 Things I’ll Never Get Tired of as a Newborn Photographer

Honestly, I still get butterflies before every newborn session. Even after all this time, there are a few things about this work that I never, ever get tired of—and I don’t think I ever will.

1. The Pure Magic of Newborns

There’s just something about holding a brand-new baby that makes the world slow down. Their tiny fingers, sleepy little yawns, soft breathing—every single time, I’m reminded what a miracle life is. I get to witness the very beginning of someone’s story. How amazing is that?

2. Hearing Birth Stories

One of my favorite parts of every session is chatting with new parents. Every birth story is different—sometimes wild, sometimes peaceful, always powerful. I love hearing how these little ones came into the world. It makes the photos we create feel even more meaningful.

3. Capturing the Tiny, Fleeting Details

Babies grow so fast. One minute they’re curled up, fitting perfectly in your arms—and before you know it, they’re rolling over, crawling, babbling. I’m obsessed with documenting the details that will soon change: the wrinkles, the fuzz, the sleepy little expressions. These are the things you’ll want to remember forever.

If you’re ever wondering why I do what I do—this is it. These sweet beginnings, these real stories, and all the tiny moments in between. 💛
