Photos for your two year old

Photography doesn’t stop when you are one! Yes most of my clients are maternity, newborn and through the first year. However, I would absolutely love to continue to photograph your toddler as they grow and meet their 18 month and 2nd year milestones.

SCHEDULING

  • Mornings are still better for younger kids

  • Avoid scheduling at a nap time or meal time

SESSION LENGTH

  • Older kiddos have less of a attention span, so I try to keep it as short as possible.

  • If it’s just one child, only about 30 minutes.

  • If you have parents included plan to 30-60 minutes.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Your toddler will want to look at everything in the room, they won’t want to sit still. And that’s okay.

We will pay a little, we will walk around, we will keep redirecting.

Expect it to be a little ‘busy’ following your toddler around.

OUTFITS

As always you are still welcome to use my prop closet. Or bring your own.

If your bring your own, we want your toddler to be the star of the show, not their outfit. So still try for solid colors, and texture (examples; lace, knit or denim) is great.

CAKE SMASH

Yes we could always do another cake smash for a 2nd birthday. Same requests as your one year session.

Here are cake suggestions HERE.
