Incorporating heirlooms & special items into your portraits
My portrait style is minimalistic, clean, and timeless, keeping the spotlight on your newborn. I like to keep the attention on your precious new addition and your family.
However, weaving in a special personal item or heirloom items into your baby’s first photo session can make make your photos and story truly one-of-a-kind. Heirlooms can tell a story, offering a unique and personal touch to your baby's first portraits.
Heirloom items for your session:
Mom's ring is handed down from her mother.
cherished outfits,
rattles,
books,
blankets,
beloved ‘lovey’ (stuffed animal)
Special items for your session:
A stuffed animal
you plan to use for your milestone photos to show the size of baby’s growth
That has a special meaning to your family
A blanket with baby’s name on it
Baby is wearing a dress handed down from great grandma and her heritage.
Less is more:
Please keep it to one or two items MAX please.
Certainly no recently purchased Etsy items please.
Keeping it to only one or two items
Baby and the family can still be the main focus of the photos.
We want to minimize distraction and keep the attention on the family and the baby - where it belongs.

A Disney outfit
or any theme outfit
A Etsy knit hat, l especially crocheted items.
(I have all the hats, headbands, wraps etc. that we)
