In-Home Newborn Sessions vs. Posed Studio Sessions

Which One is Right for You?

If you love the idea of capturing those first sweet days with your baby in the comfort of home, a minimalist in-home session might be the perfect fit! Unlike my posed studio sessions, which focus on carefully styled setups, wraps, and props (babies in baskets), in home sessions are all about natural, guided moments with your baby and baby’s details.

What’s the Difference?
✔ HOME minimalist sessions

  • Natural, family-focused and details.

  • Session is about 60 minutes - but it depends on your newborn.

    • plus there is set up and tear down are about 20-30 minutes

  • I will bring my light + a low bed to photograph baby on.

  • I will use whites and ivories only.

  • Minimal home prep:

    • a BLANK wall for family photos

    • I need a space that is open that is about 8x8 for my bed and light for baby photos.

✔ STUDIO Posed Artistic Sessions

  • More structured with soft wraps, delicate poses, and curated setups.

  • Perfect if you love that classic, artful newborn look.

  • Sessions are 3 hours, this allows us to sooth baby into those adorable poses and take breaks for feeds as necessary.

  • No home prep necessary and I provide all the props.

  • In studio only.

The Booking Details
The booking fee is the same for both session types! In-home sessions include travel within 20 miles of my Redmond studio, with a small additional fee for longer distances.

If you’re unsure which session is best for you, let’s chat! Either way, you’ll get timeless, heartfelt images of your sweet little one. CONTACT ME me to book your session! 💛
