Who can participate in a wrapped mini newborn session?

The newborn between 1 - 5 weeks old. 

Parents can be added for an additional small fee. 

How long is a wrapped mini newborn session?

Session time is limited to ONE HOUR only.

Please arrive before to top up baby with milk before the start of your session. There won’t be time for feeding in session.

If you add parents to the session it will still be an hour session. We will just do a little less photos of your newborn, but worth it for those professional first family photos! 

Why can’t siblings be added to a wrapped mini session?

Wrapped mini sessions are designed to be quick. We need extra time and TLC for siblings that cannot be done in this short time. Please book a full newborn session so I can spend time with your sibling.

Are newborn props included in my session

Yes, my props are all included no matter what session you book. 

What items should I bring for my wrapped mini newborn session?

  • Bring extra milk for baby 

    • (at least 10oz for a baby 7-14 days old). They can eat double the amount of food in a session. Be prepared. 

  • extra diapers (at least 5 diapers).

  • an extra outfit for ride home.

  • pacifier even if you are not using one. If you don’t bring one we will use one of mine.

  • blanket for travel home.

  • your clothes for your family photos if applicable (no clothes for baby). 

Are masks required in studio?

Masks are not required for my participants in studio, however I always wear a KN95 to protect precious babies. 

Instead of a baby being wrapped can we request just one or two naked poses?

NO.

Wrapped sessions are baby wrapped up. Babies are used to being tight in their mom’s tummies and rest more peacefully when wrapped. 

If your baby is older than 3 weeks, and you don’t normally wrap them I suggest you do not choose this session.

Naked posing takes way more finesse and patience. I would love for you to book a full newborn session with me so I can spend the extra time with you and your baby. 

Can baby be older than 5 weeks for a wrapped newborn session?

MAYBE. sometimes up to 6 weeks, but no older.

Because babies are used to being tight and comfortable in their mom’s tummy when they are younger. They get used to the freedom and after four weeks many babies refuse wrapping.
